Database Management

To assist in the preparation of grant applications and progress reports and facilitate the archiving of funding and related information at the PSC, the administrative core maintains two databases: one that contains information on funded research projects and the other on publications of PSC Research Associates. The grants database contains information on funded research activities, including project abstracts and information on funding sources, project period, personnel, direct and indirect costs, and other relevant details. The database provides is a valuable repository of current and past research activities of PSC Research Associates and their collaborators. The bibliographic database contains information on published and forthcoming publications, including their PMCIDs, if appropriate, and conference presentations. The information staff reviews publications for compliance with the NIH Public Access Policy and provides assistance with submissions to Pub Med Central, if necessary.  Research Associates should contact PSC Information Services staff by email (, if they would like extracts of the bibliographic database.
