Examines the potential effectiveness of birth control programs for sexually active adolescents. The sexual patterns, reactions to pregnancy, and birth control experience, knowledge, and attitudes of a sample of 169 teen-age girls expecting the 1st illegitimate child were studied. Findings suggest that the majority of Ss would use birth control if it is accessible and safe.
