Library & Information Services > Training & Instruction
- Manage the PSC Workshop Series: Information Services staff works with Students and Faculty to determine what sorts of workshops are appropriate and tries to ensure that the scheduling does not conflict with academic schedules. We also collect data about attendance and usefulness to report on and to develop new workshops.
- Develop and Present PSC Workshops: Information Services staff presents several workshops in both the Fall and Spring semesters and sometimes in the Summer as well on topics relevant to PSC researchers.
- Bibliographic Instruction: Library staff provides assistance with using, identifying and evaluating relevant electronic and print resources for individuals, small groups, and for courses. For in class instruction please contact the librarian with your specific needs.
- Develop Handouts, Guides and Links of Web Resources: Please see the Resources section of the website for these guides.
- Help with Desktop Publishing Training and Troubleshooting: There are several common software programs that the Information Services staff uses frequently and we can provide minimal assistance with problems. We especially help with using the programs that we give workshops on.
