Research > Innovations in Methods

By emphasizing innovations in methods, we want to highlight four core groups of faculty that lend Penn’s PSC special strength.  All PSC Research Associates are well versed in some methodology or another; they could not be at Penn otherwise!  In identifying those who have been especially innovative within their various fields, we are emphasizing groups that make Penn a leader in the development and application of methodologies vital to advancing the population sciences.

  • Statistics and econometrics
  • Agent-based modeling and calibration
  • Demographic methods
  • Biomarkers and population research
