Fall 2009 Colloquium


The Penn Population Studies Colloquium Series co-sponsored by the Population Aging Research Center at the University of Pennsylvania meets most Mondays from 12-1 PM during the academic year. The Spring 2023 Colloquium Series will be hosted in-person in: McNeil 150 (ROOM CHANGE). The Population Studies Center adheres to the policies implemented by the School of Arts and Sciences (SAS) and the University regarding protections in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. SAS and University regulations supersede the specific practices at the PSC, especially since many issues are still in flux. See the latest announcement from the University.

Specific guidelines for the 2022-2023 Colloquium:

Vaccination requirements: All students, faculty, staff, postdocs, and other campus partners, including outside visitors, are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 except those who qualify for an exemption.

Face covering: Masking is optional.

Meetings: Group meetings with the visitor, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, will be reserved to no more than 5 people on a first-come, first-served basis. Sign-up sheets for these group meetings will be distributed the week before the talk. Sign up here to meet with speakers individually or to participate in the networking lunch, speaker availability will be listed as soon as we have updates, approximately a week before the talk. If you are interested in speaking at one of our colloquium sessions, please contact Emilio Parrado or Iliana Kohler. Population Studies Center events may be photographed and/or video recorded for educational and promotional use.
