Speaker Biographies:
Minji Bang is a doctoral candidate in Economics at the University of Pennsylvania. She is interested in a variety of topics in labor and public economics, such as household labor supply and family decision making, with a particular focus on interdependence between spouses, occupation sorting, and childcare arrangement. Her work has a strong policy component since she focuses on evaluating policy interventions in the labor market and early childhood education. She has also worked on developing new econometric techniques to estimate models with partially latent covariates. She also has interests in fertility, depopulation, aging, and their effects on various economic outcomes.
