Janeria Easley joined the University of Pennsylvania in 2016 as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Sociology and the Population Studies Center (PSC). She obtained her Ph.D. in Sociology from Princeton University. Broadly, Janeria is interested in ethnic and racial economic inequality, neighborhood inequality, and wealth. In her research, Janeria examines the relationship between residential segregation and job access among the largest ethnic and racial groups in the United States. Another line of research explores racial differences in intergenerational mobility, especially with respect to wealth.
