Xiuqi Yang is a Ph.D. student in sociology and demography at the University of Pennsylvania. She is interested in a variety of topics on social stratification and mobility, and she currently mainly focuses on the implications of family living arrangements in early childhood on the life course outcomes in China, and a project on the evolving occupational structure over time in the US.
