My Phd dissertation focuses on construction and internalization of norms and representations of love, friendship and sexuality among children aged 6 to 11 years old. Based on a quantitative and qualitative survey, I try to underline the different processes through which kids learn to be friend, learn to love each other (or fall in love) and how they incorporate their sexual norms and representations by taking into account of their social background and their gender. In other terms, my work fits into three major sub areas within Sociology : sociology of childish socialization, sociology of feelings and sexuality and sociology of social stratification.
