I’m an economist specializing in health economics, labor economics, and social policy in low- and middle-income countries. I’ve authored 14 peer-reviewed publications, including in journals like the Journal of Development Economics. I’ve received support from organizations like Grand Challenges Canada, the Hewlett Foundation, and the National Institutes for Health. I’m also dedicated to teaching and mentoring, recognized with a 4.5/5 and 5/5 instructor rating in Health Economics. I’ve delivered 50+ talks, including a TEDx Talk, and been invited to speak at over 20 events. I currently hold positions as a Research Affiliate at the University of Pennsylvania, a Faculty Fellow at Association for Analytic Learning about Islam and Muslim Societies (AALIMS), and an Alumni of the Ronald Coase Institute.
