Andi Wang is a PhD student in Demography at Renmin University of China and currently a visiting scholar at the PSC, where she collaborates with Prof. Xi Song. Her research is grounded in understanding family dynamics and social inequality through the lens of demographic processes. Her past research has explored topics such as the health outcomes of providing grandchild care and fertility discourse on the Chinese internet. Her ongoing research focuses on the impact of changes in educational structures on marriage patterns and the global trend of singlehood. She is also interested in quantitative techniques, including regression-based methods, formal demographic techniques, and computational approaches.
