<p class="MsoNormal">Meghan Skira is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics in the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia. Her research areas include labor economics, health economics, economics of aging, and economics of the family. Her work in the economics of aging focuses on the labor supply effects of informal care provision, the role of information in the decision to purchase long-term care insurance as well as the interaction between policy and nursing home quality. Her more recent work focuses on the impact of medical treatments and innovation on labor supply as well as the impact of maternity leave on mothers, families, and firms. Her research has been published in <em>International Economic Review</em>, <em>Journal of Health Economics</em>, <em>Journal of Human Resources</em>, and <em>Health Services Research</em>.</p>
