Haijun Shi is a PhD student in Sociology at Tsinghua University, China. He is a quantitastive researcher with special focus in understanding how social inequality is formed and reproduced through child development and family processes. His past research dicussed topics including the gender difference in work-family conflict, role of child temperament in cognitive development, and how the outcomes of family-school interactions interacts with family background. His recent interest lies in child development under digital society. He is also interested in cross-national comparison of social inequality, as well as multi-generational social mobility.
