Angelo is an applied microeconomist specializing in development and environmental issues. His research focuses on critical challenges such as deforestation and air pollution, aiming to inform effective policy solutions. In his Job Market Paper, he examined the impact of a conservation policy in Zambia on deforestation outcomes and spillover effects in neighboring regions. He earned his PhD in Economics from the University of Houston. Outside of academia, he is a nature enthusiast and avid soccer fan.
