<p><strong>Dorothy Roberts</strong>, George A. Weiss University Professor of Law and Sociology and the Raymond Pace and Sadie Tanner Mossell Alexander Professor of Civil Rights will lead a broad-ranging discussion with&nbsp;<strong>Andrea&nbsp;Ritchie</strong>, activist, attorney, and scholar.&nbsp;Ritchie’s new&nbsp;<em>book&nbsp;Invisible No More: Police Violence Against Black Women and Women of Color</em>, examines how Black women, Indigenous women, and women of color experience the twin epidemics of police violence and mass incarceration, documenting the evolution of movements centering women’s experiences of policing and demanding a radical rethinking of our visions of safety—and the means we devote to achieving it.&nbsp;Ritchie&nbsp;is also a member of the Movement for Black Lives Policy Table. Come hear about the Movement for Black Lives, prison abolition, and ending police violence, with an emphasis on the experiences of Black women and women of color.
