<p>Dr. Jagger is the leading UK researcher in health expectancy and highly recognized internationally. She has conducted aging research on most of the longitudinal cohorts in Britain and the cross-European studies. She has published in the world’s leading academic journals including an important study on healthy life years across Europe in The Lancet. She is also at the forefront of developing and teaching methods for estimating health expectancy. Dr. Jagger is a Fellow of the Faculty of Public Health (by distinction), Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society (C.Stat) and Chartered Scientist (CSci), Honorary Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, Fellow of the Gerontological Society of America and Member of the British Geriatrics Society.</p>

Description

The international REVES network encourages research on health expectancy, longevity, the disablement process and ageing. It includes scholars from a broad range of disciplines such as demographers, clinicians, statisticians and social scientists. REVES@30 is a joint conference of the REVES and TRENDS networks.
