Speaker Biographies

<p>Alberto is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the PSC and is part of the research team of the Malawi Longitudinal Study of Families and Health (MLSFH). His current research focuses on the demographic, socioeconomic and health conditions in a poor sub-Saharian low-income context. Alberto has a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. During the graduate studies, his research has focused on the political economy of immigration enforcement and its effects on crime, police efficiency and the labor market.</p>
