Kimberlyn's research delves into the intricate connections between genetic determinants, behavioral determinants, and social determinants of health. A focal point of her work revolves around investigating how these factors influence lung cancer outcomes within African American populations. Additionally, she shows keen interest in gene-environment interactions, adverse childhood experiences, psychosocial determinants, minority health, and the complexities of health disparities.
